Applications Everyone that applies is accepted with the few exceptions that will occur where a current member, of good standing, says a person is not right for us and can give a valid reason. You will generally be pearled within 48 hours of applying unless this situation occurs.

Probationary Period Upon acceptance of your application you will be expected to attend the next two runs where access to areas permits. Please note on your application if this is going to be a problem due to real life scheduling conflicts and we will work around this. You will not be allowed to comment an item for designated / reserved lot during these two runs, but you are welcome to lot on items that are called as free lot*. This mandatory period is to ensure that you are able to perform well with our group.

If you miss three consecutive runs without letting us know you will be put on a two run probation in which you cannot comment an item. Those that are unable to attend one of the two days at all will not need to give notice every week as long as we are aware you can only attend once a week. Fair notice is considered to be any time before the beginning of the run.

* see free lot rules below.

Lotting Rules Once you have completed your probationary period you will be able to lot on, or 'reserve' an item*. This means that as of your third run (including your third run) you are invited and encouraged to set a search comment indicating which item you wish to lot on. We have a points-based system in place to ensure everyone has a fair chance at attaining their desired items as long as they put in their fair share of work and to ensure that loyalty is rewarded. If an item falls to 'free lot'** you are able to lot regardless of points and run count.

* City Runs (San d'Oria, Bastok, Windurst and Jeuno) will not fall under the points-based lotting system. Northlands (Beaucedine and Xarcabard) and Dreamlands (Qufim, Valkurm, Buburimu and Tavnazia) will. See below for more information on points.

** see free lot rules below.

Points System From your very first run you will be accruing points. For attending a run on time and for staying the entire duration of the run you will earn one point. Possible point scenarios will be as follows:
  • Show up on time and stay the entire run: 2 points
  • Show up on time and leave early: 1 point
  • Enter late and stay the remainder of the run: 1 point
  • Enter late and leave early: 0 points
  • In order to lot / reserve an item you must have the comment set with at least 5 minutes remaining before we enter - you will also need the job levelled and able to equip the item.

Items in Northlands and Dreamlands Accessories will be allocated to the person with the most points. In the event of a tie, both / all with that points total will be allowed to lot.

In the unfortunate event the designated person disconnects or leaves early.
  • Items from cities will cost 2 points and can be lotted by anyone with a comment set.
  • Items from Northlands will cost 5 points and are only to be lotted by those with the right comment and the highest points total.*
  • Items that drop from the Dynamis Lord will cost 10 points and are only to be lotted by those with the right comment and the highest points total.*
  • Accessory Items from Chains of Promathia areas will cost 5 points and are only to be lotted by those with the right comment and the highest points total. Normal relic drops from these zones are 2 points. Chains of Promathia -1 items are freelot if you plan to upgrade and already have the NQ item. You do not need a comment set for this.**
  • Big Money drops will cost 10 points and there is a five run wait (five runs you attend) before you can lot it again. If no one lots, or everyone with a comment gets an money drop, the remainder go to the bank.
  • Free lot is exactly that, free. The maximum points you can store is 30 at this point and at 2 points per run max you're looking at 15 runs / 7.5 weeks to cap out if you don't lot anything. You can only lot on a relic item or a big money item.

    * Both a relic item and an item from the Dynamis Lord can be commented each Xarcabard run.

** One accessory item and one relic item can be commented for each Chains of Promathia run.
